A few weeks ago I received a Victor 6 string banjola and it is a dream come true for me. The perfect instrument that allows me to combine my love of fingerstyle guitar and banjo to create music that would not be possible with either instrument. The extra bass string opens up so many possibilities but it does take a bit to get used to. I'm still working on that. It has triggered an explosion of creativity and lots of new original compositions. Many are just stubs at this point but I will develop them further. It is an absolute joy to play. A beautiful instrument created by master Luther - Edward Dick.
I love the banjo and I love the guitar. The banjola is more than a combination of both. It is an instrument that stands on its own with a unique, beautiful and expressive voice.
I can't put it down!

Hey Frailblazer thanks for adding Freeborn Man to the Banjola page. Why that piece and not one of my
"artsy" preludes
Incidentally nice playing on your tunes
