Finished staining and varnishing the Squared eel, installed the fretboard with a chisel I heated on the stove eye (pre-glued oak edge stripping) and put the tuning pegs on. Had to reglue the headstock 3 times, but finally drilled a hole and put a screw between the headstock and neck and got the glue to set. Hope it works. We'll see when I put the head on, the nut, the bridge and string it up.next weekend if I can wait that long.
Got the tuning pegs installed, though and ready to go.
Next week the head, the nut, bridge, tailpiece and strings. Still haven't decided on a tailpiece yet.
