This is my first posting.I started on tenor at 14.At 16 I switched to a plectrum.40 yrs on this and I got burned out.Went to guitar for 7 yrs.I played standard tuning,but incorporated a banjo pick traverse style.It was outside the box,so I did not fit the scene.Came up with "clokwurkcowboy" music.Got nowhere,so I dumped the guitars and started over with clawhammer.Self taught,it's hard to do,but I am getting there thanks to Banjohangout classified and videos.I really like this site.Thanks,Eric....Jeff
