We go through ups and downs as pickers. In the past 6 months I've been way down as low as possible to bout as high as a someone can get. First I quit a band and broke it slam up. That followed by joining up with a good friend who took me on down the road and played on some big stages. It's truly a dream to walk off stage and pass James King on his way on. Or to be standing round backstage with Steve Dilling and Kristen Scott Benson. We won't mention me almost knocking over Rhonda Vincent's Mandolin.... That was scary LOL. More things to come this year too. It's a lot of fun.
The band didn't stay broke up long. We joined back up and got some new material. A couple of new members who have been around me since I first started and really helped me a lot all along. Good friends and great times. Having the most fun playing bluegrass that I ever have.
Lots of stuff in store for this year. Including a new banjo next month. Got a message from he Hatfields yesterday and my Buck Creek is ready. Dropping the last payment in the mail and it'll be here soon.
Tremendously Blessed and Thankful for all of it. Can't wait to see where this ride goes this year.

Lee, congratulations on the new Buck Creek. I'm sure you will love it. Glad to hear you are having a great year so far, just think how much you'll get to pick that new banjo this summer.
