So here I sit with a pastrami sandwich. And I am thinking about how lucky I am to have so many musical choices. Pure Scruggs. Pure Melodic. Standards, oldtime, country, rock, whatever. Anything in between or a crossover or a meld. What an extravagance. What riches. Half a pound of salami and some mortadella, please.
Lousy practice today; my fingers just wouldn't move. Tomorrow will be better, and I will have so many things to play.

Same planet - different coordinates:
1/2 pound of my own charcoal-grilled black pepper-encrusted London broil, chilled overnight (read "leftovers"), sliced whisper-thin and served on bakery fresh ciabatta roll with Swiss cheese and mayo. So good and almost as fun as cramming so many hyphens into one post.
I haven't forgotten the movie review thing - I'll keep you posted.
