UPCOMING WORKSHOP!

This workshop will focus on easy and highly effective ways of providing backup for vocalists, other banjo players, guitar and mandolin breaks and fiddle breaks. Commonly used backup licks will be discussed and demonstrated. Many of the techniques used for effective backup banjo may also be used to create “up the neck” breaks on banjo. We will take a look at ways of de-mystifying the upper part of the neck! This one hour workshop is free to current students or $10 pp. Bring your banjo!
