Hello! My name is Luke D. Myers. I play a 1980 Deering Intermediate, and I also play accordion, clarinet, recorder, and I have a homemade 4-string washtub bass. My favorite band is the Wissmann Family from Milford, Nebraska. They perform for churches, nursing homes, and other places to cheer people and to save the lost and help them to come to Jesus Christ.
I love the banjo. I enjoy quite a bit of Earl Scruggs' music with the Foggy Mountain Boys.
A local bluegrass band in Whitewater, called the Dry Creek Boys, consists of four men:
Brent Entz, five-string bluegrass banjo.
David Busenitz, string bass, guitar.
Benjamin Busenitz, acoustic six-string guitar.
Jesse Busenitz, second banjo, mandolin, dobro, guitar.
. Following this on the Hangout, you will find a sample of their music, "I'll Fly Away", by Albert E. Brumley.
