Ruth and I spent a pleasant afternoon in Marlinton WV at the Autumn Harvest Festival/Roadkill Cook-Off yesterday. The weather was perfect, the possum burgoo and venison stew I tried were tasty and the Bings and Jake played some excellent music. Listen for more of their CD on my show this Tuesday (The Old Time Railroad from 1:00 to 3:00 on http://www.alleghenymountainradio.org).
