It's Maple Blossom time

Posted by Sid Langley on Sunday, July 15, 2007

Hello everyone ... I haven't been a member for long, but so many people have been so helpful in so many ways, I thought I'd send out a universal thank-you and an update. After a BHO member's tip, I now have a way of effectively muting my instrument for late night practice, after a BHO recommendation via email I've changed thumb pick and no longer catch it under the fifth string while other BHO recommendations see me working through Tony Trishcka's Essential Practice Techniques and Pat Cloud's Improvisation Workshop. The downside is that I daren't start reading the actual forums for fear of never doing any practice or cash-earning activities ever again - so take this blog as a heartfelt thanks to everyone everywhere. Coming up for 6pm on an overcast English Sunday .. no meals to cook, no kids to amuse ... Maple Blossom, here I come ...

Sid, have a great evening of practice and progress!  I have found excellent advice here as well.  BHO is a generous community.

You look and sound so relaxed, must be the music.
