Amazing

like this

God has been awesome during this whole separation ordeal. When i was about to give up on a house to rent, my cousin had one and gave me a reduced price. Its got way more room than I need, plus a security system and he mows the yard and hauls off the trash for me. I was worried about money, since the shop and lessons would be down for awhile and I had limited money to spend. The, the parts I had for sale in the shop sold quickly adn a guy came to the shop as I was moving and bought some guitars and a lapsteel I never played that someone gave me years ago. That gave me a much needed boost of cash for my new expenses. My friends all stepped up to let me crash at their houses after i first left until I located this house. The shop already has taken in new business this week and now I have my internet back at a great price!

There are other seemingly small things that have fallen in place along the way, but it all adds up to God being there and doing what he promised. I had fallen away and gotten cold and indifferent, which also resulted in our marriage suffering, I now know. I wasnt the guy she married and didn't take a real leadership role.  The BHO became a place for me to 'escape' our troubles, and I let the business falter and our romance too. Well, he needed to slap me silly to wake me up..boy did he ever get my attention! Sometimes he allows bad things to happen to get us to realize we cannot manage our own lives. we THINK we can, but when we do, theres always a big mess wating to happen and then we dont lean on him for support, which makes us suffer needlessly.

Im still a BHO guy and will be checking in here occasionally. But you wont see me on here nearly as much. My life has to change and part of that is spending more time gettting the shop happening again, lessons going and doing things that are better uses of my 'free time'. I will still do an occasional LOTW vid and offer any help I can, when time permits. This is a great site and I love you guys. My post count will not rise as quickly as it was, which is a good thing,haha.

Thanks for everyone's support and I will be seeing you on the BHO. Please remember that Im taking work in the shop and open for lessons too.

Iv know exactly where you're coming from John. God has had to get my attention a time or two and it's not a joyous thing right at the time, but it works for our good. It's a lesson that all Gods children learn. Stay strong and we'll be praying for you!

Best of luck as you make the adjustments in your life. I pray for you daily. God has a plan for us all and has to smack us now and then so we pay attention. Thank you for the LOTW. You have taught me so much.

God never went anywhere John. He was there the whole time you were doing other things. God does not forsakes his children. It's us who forsakes God. I remember your posts a long time ago when you were going to be spending less time here, only to end up spending the same amount of time here. I remember you moving your blogs elsewhere, only to start blogging here again. I saw your over-the-top posts on threads that normally you would just let go of. I could see this going on and I know human nature, you were under stress. I reached out and popped your chops a few times in private, I hope you can now understand and know why. God is the dark cloud, and the silver lining. He's the hail that pummels your house, and the ray of sunshine that follows. These are lessons I've learned too, the hardest way possible. There is no burden placed on you that you can't bear, because you are never alone. Many blessings to you, your wife, and your footsteps ahead of you. Thanks for this inspiring blog. {thumbs up thingy x2}

God never went anywhere is right Frank-he never does. We run away from him. My head is now on straight and I see things clearly again.

Glad to hear things have been moving in a good direction for you, John -- so, are you still in Mt. Airy?
