My wife and I just made a trip out to Oklahoma for her half-brother's wedding. Weird event, that, but the reception was nice.

While there, and while Mrs. M. was catching up with family, I had a lot of down time. Lately "down time" equals "pickin' time," which is OK with me. Took the second most recent Banjo Newsletter with me and worked on that Mark Simos piece and on the one attached to the Ken Perlman article. Made moderate progress.

I don't really have much to say right now. Just felt like trying to get in the blogging habit here. More later.

Glad to hear you grabbed some down time!!!! Thats what I call it too, actually more recently its becoming "my time"!!! man, I bet you passed right thru Tulsa and didn't even give me a shout out! Next time ya pass thru drop an e-mail and plan on stopping by for some lunch and a quick jam!
