Well i have ordered my first banjo and stringed instrument period. Its been years since i have read sheet music and i am trying to get it back down before my mastercraft arrives. It looks like its going to be very challenging, fun and at the same time frustration will be there too.

I remember what it was like when i was about 10 years old, learning to play sheet music with my trumpet and all those days and hours spent practicing. I remember all the frustrations and sounding like someone ran over a cat outside but then it slowly paid off and i got better over the 4 years i played. I am hoping that even though its been 14 years since all that, that this will end up the same with all the rewards and friendships made in the process.

I look forward to my banjo coming in and hope it is a good one, for the money i think it is ok and at least i get all the goodies to get me going for now and it does come with a lifetime warranty. Not many starter packages have the lifetime warranty and i made my decision after carefull research of the reviews on here as well as talking to others. Good pickin to all and hope to hear from the all of ya....who knows maybe we can get together and pick some.

Forget the dots ... tablature is the key to pickin', and many experts reckon you can learn just by ear once you've go a bit of basics in both hands .. you're in for a great adventure ... have fun
