And so it begins! Off today with fellow traveler Bob Carlin up to Chico, CA for the first gig on our 3 week tour of CA. Workshop on the 2nd is sold out but there are still a few seats for the concert. La Ganidas Brewerey and Cloverdale from there (4,5). Then a turn south to the Bay area, further to San Diego, then back up to Santa Barbara and the LA area for concerts, workshops and dances concluding with a set Sunday afternoon at the Topanga Canyon Old time gathering.
I get to come home for a day before heading out solo up to the Strawberry Festival then onto Reno for concerts and workshops there at the start of June. Well, NV after that where I'll be teaching, performing and judging at the NV state fiddle contest. Weiser, ID fiddlers convention comes next before closing out the month of June (and the tour) at the Rolland Family Fiddle Camp. Teaching clawhammer banjo AND fiddle there before heading home for a month off and time with The Lovely Miss Jennifer in the Yuma, AZ Summer Sun before heading to Arkansas for August.
SO, hope to see many of you as I travel this summer. Feel free to email me along the way. Till then...
Play Nice,
Dan "Clawdan" Levenson
