My wife and I just returned from enjoying a few days with a group of friends and associates at a resort in Playa Del Carmen. I didn't take a banjo (even though I've been getting ready for a big show coming up) but our first day there I ran into 2 generations of BANJO LOVERS!
Dad George--and son Rob (who's just taking up the banjo) both from Tennessee. We had some great conversation over the next couple days and I told Rob about the Hangout. He was blown away that such a thing even existed. Tens of thousands of banjo players/lovers in a single community! WOW! Now that I've thought about it, I'm reminded that I felt the same way when Don Bryant first introduced me to BHO in 2009. And really, I still do. Thanks to Eric and all who make this a 'WOW' resource and community of friends who all share the common bond of BANJOS and helping each other enjoy them more.
