I would again like to thank Mack "zeemie" for taking a couple hours out of his Sunday afternoon to set up my banjo for me. He first checked the head tension with his new drum dial, and most of them were already at 90 for the "A". A few were 88.5-89 and he addressed those after replacing my original set of GHS strings with American Made Banjo cryogenics. These strings are actually treated in liquid nitrogen at around -346 to -320 deg F. Mack swears by them, and I confess my RK-75 Elite has a much brighter sound. He removed the armrest, adjusted the 4 j-hooks and set the drum dial on the suspected brackets, repositioned my armrest, which was way too close to the tailpiece and put the resonator back on. It plays so much better now! Thanks Mack!
