Put a 1/2" bridge on the Aria banjo and does it play a lot better! Thrilled with this banjo. And it's a matching sister to my Aria acoustic guitar.
I still want to learn clawgrass but need to polish my clawhammering skills so I'm enjoying that.
My wanting to work on an autoharp bug was biting again and I got a sweet deal on a 15 chord chromaharp that needs parts and some re assembly. So I'm waiting to order parts once I get an answer from my autoharp parts guy. And I finally found an endpin cover for my '64 Oscar Schmidt Appalachian autoharp I restored. So that will be sweet once that's on there, and the Appalachian will be done except for slowly putting new strings on it.
Getting into the process of playing, learning, and enjoying the process rather than projecting ahead. I've also dipped into playing mountain dulcimer again and am hoping to get a knock about dulcimer. I have a really nice one now but don't want to take it around too much for fear of getting it dinged. I have my eye on a knockabout that needs a little work. We'll see how that goes.
Realising it's getting to be time to start learning tunes for the 4th of July. Already! Seems like last week was New Years.
Getting an interest in learning Civil War tunes as well.

Thank you for the multitalented comment! I've had a time inwardly accepting the fact that I am driven to play more than one instrument. There was a time I thought myself scatterbrained, but you're the 2nd person to tell me to do this takes talent, and I very much appreciate that. :-) I don't play guitar too much these days, mostly mando, dulcimer, banjo, and I'm learning autoharp. I'm more skilled at repairing those than playing them at this point. I do love to mess with fiddle tho.
