A friend asked me to sit in with his bluegrass band to provide that old-timey clawhammer sound to the Hazel Dicken's song You'll Get No More From Me. He normally plays banjo in standard three-finger bluegrass style, but wants to play slide guitar. A copy of the tab is now posted in the Banjo Hangout tab archive along with a rough recording of me singing the tune. A friend, Tom Shultz, who is learning bluegrass banjo sat in. The banjo part came across pretty well -- my singing not quite so well. But it is good enough to help others who want to give the song a try based on the tab.
