I have been having a wonderful time teaching the Pete Wernick jamming program in Voorheesville, NY (near Albany). Pete's program is comprehensive and very effective in teaching people how to jam, and is held nationally and even in Europe.
There are 16 people in the 6-session program, which started January 8, 2013 and runs once a week. It is for all bluegrass instruments, and everyone is doing a great job in class, with different topics each week and a lot of hands on playing and jamming.
Tom Thorpe, a fine teacher, is helping me with the sessions, and Steve Karpinski is playing bass backup.
I plan on holding the classes again from May 28 through June 25, 2013.
