I'd never really tried to play any gospel, but there is an old time gospel jam at the senior center once a month in my little town. Went to it. Sat in the back, put on a mute, and played along. Figured out what keys people were singing and playing in and got an idea of some of the songs. Always fun to start to learn new things - and in the case of gospel, a chance to be inspired as well. Amen

It's amazing how many gospel songs work really well with the banjo.

Hey. Noticed you were local and followed a thread here about O Come, O Come, Emmanuel - Sufjan Stevens. Do you have a chart/tab for that by any chance?

No, but let me ask my daughter whether she has that song by Sufijan. As you probably know, his picking style is his own. I might be able to puzzle it out. While I'm not a big fan of the overblown holidays, I love a good carol done on banjo. If you have a link so that I can hear it let me know.
