There was a question earlier this week on the forum regarding the chords for Ola Belle Reed's Undone in Sorrow. The question got me digging around and I decided to make that my song to learn for the week. I gathered inspiration from Ola Belle's version as well as one by Riley Baugus which you can find on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JySuxkjcZA4&list=PL782BD87AF2466826 . Another excellent source for Ola Belle Reed information is the book A Banjo Pickin' Girl by Judy Marti which can be found at http://www.broadvalleyorchard.com .
Crooked Still plays a version of the song, but I prefer Ola's original. The original has a wonderful tonal ambiguity to it which is nicely carried by the banjo/fiddle instrumentation. The Crooked Still version is very nice, and has more going on from a harmonic perspective. But to my ear it is too cleaned up. I prefer that lonesome mournful sound that Ola gives to it. The tab posting includes a short snippet of me playing the tune. I'll work to get a full version posted at http://soundcloud.com/rodeworks by the end of the weekend. Enjoy.

Member Jay K posted a thread with the tabs August 2012. It is not chords but it was useful and had several member examples.
