Things are settling down here in North Dakota! Crops are in, spraying is about done, and the haying has begun. Weather has been a tad warm, with alot of humidity, but for the last couple of day, a nice NW wind has blown, clearing away the humidity. Ahhhh, I'm starting to enjoy the summer again!
The band is enjoying the lull before the busy week in july. Now, we have a member, who doesn't want to do a particular gig because its a "freebie" in our own home town. We have already committed to it, so Dennis, the guy in the back left, Vern, the tall guy on the right, and myself, the gal on the right, plan on going on with it ourselves. Cheryl, the gal on the left, and her husband Pat, the dude in the middle, are the ones who don't want to do this.
Are Dennis, Vern & I wrong to honor this committment?
Have a great day, reader!

I think if the commitment has been made then you must stand by your word, but then I don't make music for money either, I do it because I love music. I won't even go into giving back to the community and just having fun with friends and neighbors.
have a great day Susi, good luck!

Thank you Terry!
We had a band practice Friday night, and the two are still adament about not playing. I told them fine, but then don't come to practice the friday before the gig, so that Dennis , Vern & I could get it together for ourselves. Next question.......say someone wants to book us from that gig, just the three of us....it's only fair then, that the three of us only do that gig, Right?
Have a great day!
