Hello all,
I am a 32 yoa man from Newnan, GA. I have just picked up my first banjo yesterday and starting to learn to play. My great wife picked out a Deering Sierra for my first banjo. I must say that I was suprised as I was planning on about 500$. She said we didn't wanna upgrade anytime soon. So I hope all goes well with the learning. Ill keep everyone posted. Chris

Well good for you!!!... now time for the slow desent into HELL!!!!! Naw, congratulations! Welcome to the BHO, If you search the site about your banjo you will find that your wife is a wise woman who has done her homework. I had a Sierra a few years ago and it is a fine banjo. Your going to find alot of good people here in the hangout. Those who are very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Good luck with your pickin, the guys at the firehouse are going to love it!
