A Las Vegas Banjo Day: On Stage at Caesars Palace!

Wow! You know how sometimes things happen and they don't really make sense, but they happen anyway.

And all you can do is be THANKFUL and ENJOY! That's what happened last week when I got the opportunity to play onstage at the Legendary Caesars Palace during a reception for a national association where I was speaking later in the week. Many people in the audience thought it was a "spoof" but it was no joke, I actually played Fireball Mail and Foggy Mountain Breakdown as well as getting the chance to play EASTON'S SONG, a tune I wrote for my grandson and his dad put together a video clip that played on the huge house screens while I played solo on my Gibson RB 250. That was a great BANJO DAY for me, and even some of those in attendance I'm guessing. At least they had nice things to say when I was listening. :)

Got some great photos coming I'm told, but the first one is a shot of me on the big screens... very cool!
