I have had it. There are actually 2 tension hoops I am looking at on Ebay, so they are in 3rd and 4th position on the to get list if I destroy my current one tomorrow. I am going to bring it to the local auto body shop, cut out 1.884 cm and then have it welded back together.
I took a long and round about way to get that figure then posted it on the forums just to have someone else check my math, and they let me know that it was correct, but did about 100 fewer steps to get to the same number. I always though of myself as pretty good at math too. Oh well.
With luck and a bit of flux, I should be playing again tomorrow.
