Hi folks,
I'm just an old country boy. Grew up on Elvis, then Merle Haggard, then discovered bluegrass. I have a Taylor guitar. I've been playing guitar for about 50 years.
I also have an old 5 string banjo, open back with no markings on it and was hoping someone might be able to tell me what it's worth. I will try to get a pic of it on here soon.
Here's a video of me playing it on Youtube! I'm not very good so don't expect much.

You might want to take pictures of it and post them here and then put your question on the Collector's Forum -- it gets more reads than the blogs - and you might find out more about your banjo.
