Im a huge earl fan...and while touring i met him and never been the same...i just dont have any alot of memorabilia of the legend...if anyone has a few earl autographed things and would like to part with one to sell im interested...thanks!

never got to meet him, but i did talk with him on the phone once. a firend of mine in greensboro was good friends with him and i showed yup one day while he was on the phone with him.. he handed the phone to me and ask if i would like to talk to earl,,,,, i said yeah right! wll sure enough it was earl,,, he ask if i was the guy that played lefthended upside down,, i said yes sir but nothing like you do.. he laughed and said ,, well from what i hear you do pretty good. my head ws already swelled up.. we talked a while. i ask if i could get an autographed picture from him.. he said welll sure.. i gave him my address,, in about a week it showed up in the mail.. i have it hanging in the living room right now.. very kind and genuine man.

I'm a big Earl fan also. The only momento I have is his signature in the rim of my '99 ESS, and I can't let that go. Earl lives on in all of you great pick'rs he coached and left behind. BTW Big Red every time I see you holding a banjo it reminds me of my bud BigK who holds his the same.
