I am still searching for the s/n on this banjo with no luck. I recently saw that gibson had put a s/n plate on the inside of the head on one of its older banjos, but there's nothing inside the pot, on the head, on the back of the head, or anywhere. What I'd like to do is contact gibson with a query on how old this banjo is, but I"m afraid that, without the s/n, they won't be able to help..........any ideas?
