Just wanted to make a quick post tonight-it's a stormy night, and I'm having a great time watching old "Hee Haw" clips on YouTube. Man, they just don't make music like that anymore. I used to watch Hee Haw as a kid, and it's amazing how much of it I still remember. Such a fun show. :-) I've really been enjoying watching Grandpa and Stringbean play the clawhammer style. Before I started playing banjo, I never realized there were different styles, so now I'm enjoying seeing (and hearing) the difference. :-)
I also watched a documentary about the murder of Stringbean and his wife. So tragic-I had no idea.
Anyway, I just wanted to share-hope everyone is having a good night! :-)

I never knew Stringbean and his wife were murdered either, terrible. Yes I watched Hee-Haw as a kid it was so funny, to bad a show like that wouldn't fly today, to many garbage shows on TV.Who would have thought then some of us would be trying to learn Banjo today LOL.
