My backordered hard case arrived by FedEx this morning. So sweet, my banjo fits inside it like a glove, it's a Guardian CG-020J. I've never owned a musical instrument before, it's exciting and scary at the same time. What if I break or scratch it? It looks so pretty and shiny and new... :-D. It sounds so great when I pluck the strings and I'm loving the melody of Blackberry Blossom, the harmonies brought out of my 'jo when I attempt to play it are awesome. I've almost gotten to the place where my wife can recognize it as a song, not just a bunch of notes strung together.... lol. At least that's what she says, I think that she's just encouraging me to continue, but it sounds good to me too. I'll never be an Earl or a Bela or Steve, but I'm having a blast!!

Battle scars on banjos are cool. They make a good conversation peice.
