After talking to several folks on the BHO and also some Richmond area musicians, I am setting a tenative date for our first acoustic jam session. I say tenative because I need to check the specific date out with my wife. So the first session is scheduled for Saturday, March 24, from 7-9 p.m. at my house. If there are too many folks, we will move to another location for our next session. Please email me at stephenandrewrhodes@gmail.com and let me know if you are coming, or if you are interested in future sessions. I'd add you to a personal mailing list so that I can send out info and directions.
Once again, this is for acoustic musicians of various instruments and welcoming all skill levels. As for the type of music, I'm assuming a blend of bluegrass, old-time, and folk. But who knows? The participations will set the mood and style.
I'm really looking forward to this. I hope you are too.
Cheers,
Steve
