After one month away, I returned to my weekly Skype lesson this morning with Fiddlin Al. This was also the first time I tried using my Flip camera to record my lesson. It felt great to get back into my lessons this morning, and though I felt extremely rusty at first, Al has a great way of instilling confidence and soon I was back in the groove. The Flip camera was a very big success. I played back my lesson a couple of times today at work instead of listening to the radio, and though I cringed when I first heard my own playing coming through the speakers, I soon thought, "you know, it's not that bad!" I also now am able to go back and see everything we did during the lesson, so if anyone is wondering about trying this technology, go for it!

For $20 bucks you can buy "Call Recorder" and keep your lessons forever. :) Ron
