I just received news today that one of my Peruvian colleagues for whom I had built a banjo was robbed. Yes they took the banjo. Silly as they are so rare and exotic down here there seems no point. I will look for a bottlecap when home in May. Just a sad day.

The good news is that a couple of folk have offered to help so in fact I can not only replace this one - it is built in my basement and awaiting a nut, BUT ALSO I can take another or so to some gifted musicians who are colleagues and they can play banjo down in Peru for worship. God is so good!
Blessings - Ian
