NOTE: I tried to be realistic with invites based on distance. but you are welcome to come.
Sherry and I have decided to throw a jam during the weekend of June 29th, June 30 and July 1. We have sent invites out to many of you, if you can make it, we want to visit, pick and get acquainted. Anyone that would like to come is welcome, We would just ask you drop me a line and let me know so we can plan. We have area around the lake for tent camping and there are some local motels within 24 miles of our home. Bring what you think you need, we will provide a meal for all to enjoy on Saturday around 2:00 CNT. We will have porta pot for your use and showers available in the basement of our home.

What a great weekend that will be! I wish I could be there, and what a generous open armed invitation that is Donnie and Sherry. I hope it's a huge success for you.

Donnie: What a great idea. I will see about coming. The Kentucky Speedway race is June 30th and I have tickets to attend that. But perhaps I can make it one of the other days. I will make plans and confirm with you by June. Very nice of you all to do that. Hope to see you at SPBGMA next week.

Yeah Rick, I got that idea when about 30 folks at SPBGMA said they plan to come. Oh well, we will make the best of it and my friend has a 5 acre field that we can park campers in if we need to. I just want to have a good time with anyone that shows up.

I just Goolged the distance between us and was surprised that we're so close, only 1,800 miles, but I don't think I can make this trip.
However, I do want to know why you put the porta potty in the basement?
Monday, February 13, 2012 @4:20:15 PM
Opps, one could get that impression. They will be out around the lake for everyone to partake when needed. Hope to meet up some day Gary.

The hog is ordered and porta pots set to deliver on Thrusday the 28th. Enough hog to feed 150 people. Hope to see a good crowd and have some fun. Not sure what to expect, so drop me ideas for any ideas you may have that will help us pan for a great weekend.

Since I'm only about 40 miles up the road and you are on the way to my parents, I think I'm gonna have to at least stop in.

We are in the planning mode once again. I have obtained some trash barrel's for around the property. Food is taken care of for the most part and RR's covered. What other needs should we consider, so that everyone attending has a good time and is taken care of. Please offer up your ideas. We have several sets of corn hole boards and I should be able to find some horse shoes to set up also. I know there will be plenty of banjo pickers coming, so if you know anyone that plays Mandolin, Bass, guitar or fiddle, bring them with ya. We are looking so forward to this event. Hope to hear from you all soon, and look forward to seeing you all in June.
