My wife and I are getting excited about meeting as many good people as possible at SPBGMA this year. We are going to get there on Friday morning and stay through Sunday. If you are planning to go, and see us in the crowd, please say howdy. Drop by Arthur Hatfield's room. That is a great place to meet many of the Hangout members. I will have some pick pouches with me and will trade one for a good hand shake and a howdy. I look forward to a great weekend and some fine music with friend's so come on to SPBGMA. It is a wonderful experiance.

Donnie, I'm trying to make the trip happen. Hopefully I'll get to meet you in person. The last time I went was a blast - went with a mandolin picker and another banjo picker from Arkansas. It was snowing on our way to Nashville and our car had no heater. But it was worth it once we got there. We still talk about that trip.

I hope to meet you Donnie. I got one of those pick pouches last year but I was picking when you walked by and pitched it to me. I've used it ever since and want to thank you for it in person. I'll look for you.

I too am a fellow hoosier. I am new to this world, so please forgive my ignorance. What is the SPBGMA?

Society for the Preservation of Bluegraas Music of America thus SPBGMA. Search it and you will learn more. Great fun and quite the experience if you have never been to the awards weekend.
