I was a little reluctant to spend $80.00 on picks but I'm glad I did! The Blue chip thumbpick on my Recording King Elite 75 sounds out of this world, and the Sammy Shelor finger picks fit great and sound great too!

Wow!!! that's definitely going full bore. It's a big step to try expensive picks but in the long run, it's worth it.
If you get a chance, (and you haven't already tried them) give the Showcase 41s a try. I don't think they fit as nicely as the Shelors but I think they sound better

Yeah, I second the Showcase 41s. I tried several pair of finger picks and they sound best to me. I can't bring myself to spend the $ on the blue chip, But I got a neat thumb pick from Bart Riter.....can't go to any other! ($6.00)
