My wife is a big Pirates fan. Probably a big Johnny Depp fan if truth be told. Anyway, we saw it on the big screen on Memorial day.
I have to say that I enjoyed it although I found it a bit hard to follow. I recommend the movie but before you go, watch the second one again. It will make it a bit easier to follow. We watched Pirates 2 again last night and it cleared up some things for me and had I watched it before we went,it would have been easier to follow.
My wife and I are heading out to the Outer Banks of North Carolina for a full week of vacation. This will be the first vacation we've had without kids. Kinda lookin forward to it.
Wow!! just got back home from running some errands and while I was out, this tow truck went flying past me in the opposite direction and put a stone about the size of a lemon through my windshield. Had the windshield not stopped the rock from completely going through (it broke the glass and fell on the dash in front of me) it would have hit me directly in the face.
I hope this isn't sign about our vacation.
Ever get a tune stuck in your head? I listen to NPR and they played a recording of Scott Joplin playing the Maple Leaf Rag on piano. Man that is good!!

Joplin is awesome (you could have done worse for an "earworm"). My personal Joplin fav is "Weeping Willow." Have fun in OBX--my mom lives in Avon, NC. Eat at Diamond Shoals in Buxton--good pancakes. ;-)

Janet Davis's "Ultimate Banjo Songbook" has tab for Maple Leaf Rag. It's WAY over my skill level, but someday...
Hope your broken windshield is the only bump in your vacation! And I am very glad the safety glass performed as it's supposed to. Have a great trip, and stop by Sam and Omie's and have some fried catch of the day for me!
