Elderly Instruments has lots of books online.

I'm left-handed too, but I chose to play right-handed. My banjo teacher was the same. It makes buying and borrowing a banjo a lot easier, but apparently not everyone can make this switch. The reverse advantage of playing a lefty banjo is almost no one will want to borrow yours!

Check out elderly.com or banjostore.com or melbay.com -- all have many excellent beginner banjo books that you can purchase online and have shipped to your location -- don't know what the shipping charges are, but probably fairly high.

Ps I'm a lefty as well originally from Dovecot in Liverpool and it's not a disadvantage at all, it's amazing how many lefty banjos come up on eBay and you can sometimes pick up a bargain as there isn't the same competition for them being fewer of us.
