I dug out my old Tilly hat and i gotta admit it goes well with my banjo persona to which i have also added a mustache lol! Now if i could only play the banjo i would really suit the part. Having said that, the practicing is going great and I am playing along with a DVD that i have. It skips in a few places but i am getting a new one soon from Ross Nickerson. Looking forward to that, the DVD is called Banjo Jamming and features Ross playing his versions of old favourites. He does each song in three different speeds using chords, simple rolls and melody line. It's a great way to learn a song. Anyway, things are progressing well and I feel that i've come a long way in just a month of playing.

Have you checked out Murphy Henry's DVDs? They're awesome. I started playing 10 months ago and thank god that I found her DVDs. I can guarantee I'd be nowhere near where I am if I would have went any other route. She's the best.
