Well I kind of guess that's the way the Newfoundlanders would say it. As a matter of fact I've been using the tune "I's the Bye", a Newfoundland folk tune, to learn my bar chords. You can use the 'F' shape on the 3rd fret to form a G, and use the four finger D and the regular C chord or the C at the 5th fret. Frack, i almost sound like i know what i'm talking about. That band used to play in my local pub, The Windsor House, here in Toronto back in the day (the '70's day).
