Wow, I had such a great time this weekend. I attended the Nash Camp Banjo Retreat, which was started 13 years ago by Sonny Osborne and friends. It was great weather and the instructors were some of the best in the business. The facilities were very nice and laid out perfectly for this type of retreat. Cindy Cinclair was the best organizer and camp host ever. The concert that the instructor's put on for us was unbelievable. Jens is an amazing person and even better banjo player. I was spell bound while he played. Great place to learn and expand my skills and understanding of banjo. I met so many great people and had such fun. Food was top notch and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It was well worth it and I am going again next year. The only difference is that I will be taking some new skills with me.
Meeting Sonny was a great honor and he was very personable and kind. He has always been one of my favorites. He was a very cool dude too and that stuck out with me and now I find that he is a big UK fan. Go Big Blue!.
I am not sure that I will ever be the same. Thanks to everyone that I met and played with, the organizers, hosts and instructor's and anyone else that I may have missed. It was truly a great experience..

Glad you enjoyed yourself at camp. Also happy for you that you got to go by having your name on that list. Anytime you're around that many good players some of there stuff will rub off on you. I went last year and it was my 1st time to be there. It's run very, very well and if it wasn't there wouldn't be repeat people coming to it. From what I've learned there a lot of people that have been coming there for several years. That should tell you somthing. They have a great thing going there. Glad you got to meet Sonny also. There is a great wealth of banjo knowledge in that head I assure you!!! Sorry I didn't get over there this year.
Take care my friend.
