Yea, I was sweatin' so much, my picks almost fell off :-) He was great, though, and it didn't take long 'til I felt right at home. He just listened to me play abit, then gave me everything I needed to work on for now; for example, how to hold my hand so I didn't tap at the head; how to emphasize each note so it sounds more like a 'river of pearls'; how to start internalizing a steady rythm, etc. He certainly gave me alot to work on. When I think I've got it, I'll probably see him again for another lesson. I did record the whole thing so I can review it again and again...Oh yea, and I had him sign one of his books...:-) BTW, it was awesome to hear his experiences, and what he learned from guys like Earl Scruggs, J.D.Crowe, etc...OMG!

What an ideal opportunity! He knows enough to teach you to keep you working for a year on just one lesson...

Amen to THAT Janet...I'm glad I recorded it :-) Of course, my BHO Buds are going to expect great things from me, even though it was ONLY ONE LESSON... LOL
