I heard a wonderful song called "The Lame Soldier" tonight by a gal by the name of Jami Lynn from Rapid City SD. She is a wonderful singer and a pretty good banjo player too. I didn't get a chance to ask her where the song was from and I don't see much on the internet. Does anyone have any info on this song?

You might want to ask your question on the appropriate forum -- they get more reads than the blogs.

Thanks for your comments. I did visit Jami's myspace and her music link did not work. I'll be seeing Jami again in 2 weeks and if I don't get info by then, I'll be sure to ask her. I did find out she did her undergrade thesis on traditional music. I think Texasbanjo had a good idea; I didn't think to post on a more appropriate forum (simplest route is not always the best).

Mary - glad to help. I had a bit of trouble also trying to get the music to play also - perseverance won out. I prefer traditional bluegrass so Jami Lynn isn't exactly what I listen to
