Hello, friends!
I think that you all understand an English language well and know it more and more better then I (mine is Russian)
Well, I learn it. I like to listen songs on your language and sing them.
And I try to write my first own little songs in English. But may be anything wrong in my lyrics... So I need to know your opinion about it
:))
Here is one song
Close Your Eyes
1. Close your eyes
Come into my dream
Hear me tonight
I`ll be right here
Waiting for you
Come in, my dear
What can I do
To make it real?
2. Baby, I know
I'll give you my all
All for your kiss
Because I miss you so
And I
Can`t sleep tonight
You are always
In my mind
Baby, I can`t sleep tonight
You are always in my mind
3. Close your eyes
You know what I mean
Welcome into
My sweetest dream
I`ll be with you
Right here, my dear
What can I do
To make it real?

Your lyrics are fine, Janna. Your English is much better than my Russian!

Close your eyes
Hear me tonight
Come into my dreams
We'll be alright.

2. Just for your kiss
And all that I miss
My soul's in a knot
I need what you've got.

3B I'm here with you
Our time is so dear
Alone, just us two
Let's make it so real.

Hello, Janna
Your lyrics are very nicely done! I am anxious to hear the melody with the lyrics. Please post it here when you record it.
Well done!

It looks fine to me. I wouldn't change anything. It would be more common to say you are (were) always "on" my mind but that is now too cliche due to the Willie Nelson song.
And "Welcome into my sweetest dream" could just be "welcome to my sweetest dream" but I like "into" better because it gives you the visual of the dream being an actual place that you could walk into.
you probably will find that by not knowing the language as well as your native language you actually have an advantage at times in saying things in a more creative way without even realizing what you are doing

Leave it just like it is.The 'in'your mind has a nicer hook than the worn out dull 'on' my mind!I like it,sounds like it is from the heart as much as the head.
