I purchased a Chuck Lee banjo a few months ago and he had a set of medium gauge strings..elixir..On my resonator banjo I always used light gauge, GHS..which I have always liked very much..and still use the light gauge GHS(when I can find them) on it. But I have grown to like the medium strings on my open back.Well I can't find Elixir banjo strings at any of the local music stores..Living out in the country..no wonder.i guess I'll have to make a trip into First Quality down in Louisville..What strings do you guys like??

I have Elixir mediums on my CC-OT. I used to play bass and elixirs were the only strings that wouldn't go dead real quick so I tried them on my banjo and really like them. Bet you could find a place to get them online and have them shipped to you, save you a trip.
