I got the first song back from the recording session "Heartbroke and Lonesome". Hmmm, not how I would have mixed it, sounds pretty Nashvillish. The banjo was mixed very low. They did a good job with the vocal mix although to my ear I think the vocals should be louder. My other criticism is the the break part of the song seems empty. I don't think it would hold much interest for a BHO post, but if you'd like to hear it drop me a comment and I'll e-mail it to you. One of the other songs, "See how Easy that Was", may be ok for a post. I'll let you know when I get the final mix...

The mix - I feel for you Ed. I played for years with a country band where the bass players wife ran sound. Vocals - out front. Bass - out front. Drums - out front. Everything else - who cares? It can be frustrating.
