Had a go at busking in Norwich today, it took a bit of courage to sit there and sing with all the crowds, but when I got into it, it was real good to see all the people smiling, some even did little dances as they went by! A bit further on there were three young girls with a guitar and their song sheet, looking a bit shy and apprehensive, looking for the courage to have a go at busking, ... so I had to ask if they knew a few chords.. they did ...I didn't know their songs as they were all modern, but they knew 'You are my sunshine' .. so an instant jam session was formed! I played the chords on the banjo and sang lead, the girls sang the chorus and danced too! Brilliant!

That sounds brilliant. These rare moments are magical when things come together and work. I think you came home and felt elated.

Bill, you should be feeling a great sense of achievement at having gone out there and done it - and had fun at the same time. I'm impressesd. Respect!

Hiya Liz and Kester, Thanks for checking out the blog, I'd recommend having a go, it's great to see people genuinely smiling, it may have brightened their day just for an instant, and it's recognition that perhaps you may be getting the notes
right (or wrong maybe! ha!). It's good to meet others too with the same interest. Bill

Hiya Garry,
You'll do that no problem with your experience! Hope you enjoy it. I've never been to Glasgow, .. will go there one day. I had a Scottish uncle who played drums in the pubs there. ( He loved his whiskey too!)
