Just ordered a set of Elixir strings (Med gauge) for my banjo. I've always used either GHS or D'Addario. Sure hope these are worth the couple dollars extra they cost. On another note I recently visited the Prucha website. There are some beautiful instruments there. Its very possible my dream of owning a Nechville someday could be replaced by the dream of owning a Prucha. Oh well since its a dream why not just get them both, as well as a Huber VRB-75 and a Gibson someday. Visited the BHO Chatroom for a while recently as well, met some nice folks there. I plan on visiting there more often, however I need to get a camera and mic so as to be more interactive and eliminate all the typing. Well thats it for now, think I'll pick awhile. Comments, advice, thoughts are welcome. Keep on Pickin!!!!!

I have been using A'addario J-61 for 25 yrs. When I played full time with a pro Band I would change strings every week as I play pretty hard and I have found that these stay in tune better than anything I have ever used (basically all brands) and I can string my Gibson up and the strings will stay in tune after about 2 or 3 songs. Nothing more discusting than be jamming or just watching and the Banjo Player is tuning all the time. If Banjo is set up right it will stay in tune, if not get one that will.
