Went out on the train today, waiting at Woodbridge Station to come home, there were five or six youngsters mucking about at the station, doing what young lads do to impress each other, I got the banjo out and started strumming, (I'd have done that anyway if they weren't there) they all came and sat around me and Bev and I think they enjoyed the tunes, we had a chat about banjos etc then a few more tunes, then ..oh dear someone had phoned the police before we had arrived and said the lads were being anti social, they got moved on. We felt sorry for them, they were all intelligent and not really hurting anyone. .... Best thing is, they didn't move me or Bev on!!!

Maybe you inspired them to find something new to enjoy. I guess you were lucky they were good natured and that the police did not move you on.

Hi Kester, Yes a few of the lads were quite interested, one already played guitar and talked about chords etc, so just maybe there is a bit of inspiration for them. I hope so, it's chance events like these that make our future musicians

Maybe they moved on down to the music store. Wouldn't that be something.

As Charlie Brown said: "When he is born, every kid should get a dog and a banjo."

I bet they are on E bay right now looking for a banjo bargain!
