I love the concept of this site. I have played banjo off an on for almost 20 years, and I still consider myself a novice. With a 11 month old at home, I don't see alot of practice time in my future. Nonetheless, I love the bluegrass/banjo community and love the music.
By the way, I took lessons from Bill Evans when I lived in Charlottesville, VA. My "novice" playing is no reflection on Bill's talent as an instructor!
