Well don, Ken. Good things come to those who wait.

Patience pays, my buddy Dave tells me that all of the time. The Recording King is a nice banjo too, I've been playing them lately. I want to move beyond the banjitar to a five-string, and I keep coming back to them. They make a decent resonator guitar too, the one with the mahogany body and metal cone are really nice for the price.

I really like the RK-R85A. I'm glad I got a chance to play with one a little, to get a feel of it, before I made a bid. The archtop has such a wonderful tone. I'm taking it today to have RR spikes put in.
Except for my Goodtime, the other banjos I've bought were completely blind purchases.
Except for the Goodtime, I sold the others as well. I'll keep these 2 for sure, and I think it will be awhile before I shop again. (But I doubt I'll quit forever.)
